Red Dot Sights

So I need some help in buying a budget Red Dot Sight optic. I don’t have the cash, and wouldn’t shell it out right now for an aimpoint or eotech because I’d rather purchase another gun. Add, say a pistol to my gun collection. So I’d like some help deciding between the two. And please, be easy on me. I know no one will like what I suggest. But don’t flame too hard for what I’m about to post: AIM Red Dot Sight $30 – These are available online or at my local gun show this weekend. The reviews on Amazon aren’t bad at all for the most part. It works. But then again, how long would it work for? or should I just get what everyone knows and for the most part respects, a Primary Arms Red Dot Sight for $89. ETA: Another possible PA red dot Also, can someone answer if it’ll be easier to sight in this rifle once a Red Dot Sight is on it, perhaps? afunderjack

Scope Rings

If you install them with sharp against sharp edges, could cause some problems with the Scope Rings not alone to self adjust each other, and could have been the reason that the Scope Rings wore out so quickly. Of if installed round side to the back of the bolt, can get a bit more blow by as well, causing the Scope Rings to burn up faster as well. I put the two rear ones as you say, but the front one the other way. This way no sharp edges touch each other, and the front one also scrapes , and keeps out carbon from the group of three. Gun Accessories
9/21/2010 2:46:32 AM That’s what I do. I’ve got shelves of Rubbermaid bins with gear that isn’t used frequently or “go to” and small quantities of ammunition separated in various sized tupperware bins. Stackable and rodent proof, what’s not to like? Originally Posted By insin: Hello all, I am looking for something that I can [...]

M14 Scope Mounts
M14 Scope Mounts – I was thinking about a Stag Arms Model 8 piston system. Pretty much set that aside and then took a serious look at a Daniel Defense M4V5. Then we checked out the LWRC M6A2; such a sweet piston system rifle. Also checked out a SCAR … nice. Left with lots to [...]

M14 Scope Mounts
M14 Scope Mounts Those would be the two I mentioned above. There’s something odd about the court ruling and I’m pretty sure it only applies to those two particular rifles. I think Different has the details. FWIW, the majority of M14 Scope Mounts‘s were issued with selector locks (semi-auto only) instead of the selector switch. [...]

Aimpoint Comp M4

2/15/2012 7:46:47 PM I have a Aimpoint Comp M4 on a 12.5″. Had a Aimpoint T-1 , didn’t like the dot. Not necessarily the size, although I do prefer the smaller dot, but the dot is just different than in the M3 and M4. My SBR usually wears a can, and a UBR to balance, so it’s heavy to begin with. I’d like to see a 2 MOA Aimpoint T-1 , but something tells me I will still prefer the larger tube diameter of the M3/4 reelserious

Eotech

It’s a sweet unit! I’m a happy camper now… http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/ss196/Q24me/TheBox.jpg http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/ss196/Q24me/EOTech .jpg Nice now show us how it looks on your rifle. ad_nauseam 5/3/2012 1:56:09 AM Do I understand correctly that EXPS-2 seats higher than XPS with LT-110 mount? I don’t care for cowitness or anything, which one is right for me? I want to avoid chin-weld. bluto77 5/3/2012 2:11:02 AM I’m looking at putting the XPS2 on my RRA Tactical Operator 2. When shopping around for one, I noticed the listings for XPS2, XPS2-0, XPS2-1, XPS2-2. This may be a dumb question, but are those completely different models, or does the 0, 1, 2 simply indicate a different setting on the XPS2? On th EOTech website it shows the corresponding images for each, which made me think it’s just different settings on the XPS2, but on a popular auction website they are listed separately for sale, and the XPS2-0 is cheaper than the others. Sorry OP, I know this isn’t exactly specific to your post, but it’s pretty close.
